Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Hello Resident,

Here is the latest update from your  Penn & Merry Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team.

✅ Good News – Stolen Land Rover Recovered

We recently had a great result in the Merry Hill area of Wolverhampton after a stolen Land Rover was recovered less than 24 hours after it had been stolen nearby.

A local resident noticed the vehicle appeared out of place and contacted police. Officers attended and two men were arrested at the scene.

The vehicle was recovered and, importantly, the owner was able to get their car back along with sentimental personal possessions which were still inside.

This is a great example of how information from our communities can make a real difference.

You said, we did: residents reporting suspicious activity helps us identify offences, recover stolen property and take action against those suspected of committing crime.

🚨 Crime Prevention – Vehicle Security

Following recent vehicle thefts, please remember to make sure your vehicle is locked, even when parked at home. Remove valuables and personal belongings from view, consider using a visible steering-wheel lock and, if your vehicle uses keyless entry, consider storing your keys in a signal-blocking/Faraday pouch.
